Income Protection – designed to pay out a chosen monthly sum in the event of the policyholder being unable to work due to accident or sickness. This type of policy does not provide unemployment cover. The policy will run for a chosen term. Generally there are no restrictions on a claims period or the amount of times that a claim can be made throughout the term. The policy has no maturity value.
